St James’s Place Town Cup @ Cirencester Polo Club
320 guests descended on Cirencester Park Polo Club for the St James’s Place Town Cup.
Invitees of the wealth management company were in for a real treat, with a lesson in the sport – polo, a five team tournament as well as a delicious three course lunch and an afternoon tea from expert caterers – Relish.
The lunch starter was a salmon carpaccio, cured with a local gin from Cotswold Polo Gin or a vegetarian option of an heirloom tomato salad with sauvignon blanc.
The main course a honey roasted rack of lamb on summer vegetables, Cornish new potatoes with garden mint and cracked black pepper. Vegetarians were served a delicious looking shallot and potato tatin.
Those at Cirencester Park that still had an appetite could then have a dessert of fig frangipani tart and Tonka bean cream.
“We look after the Cirencester Park Polo Club’s catering needs throughout the season and today was particularly special as the Foundation does so much,” said Relish director and chef Rob Goves. “It is also the sixth year that they have hosted this day.”
The St James’s Place Foundation was established in 1992 and is the charitable arm of St James’s Place Wealth Management. To date they have raised over £75 million for charities.
