We are in the middle of our quiet season for our hospitality events, but team Relish are all hands-on deck co-ordinating and meticulously planning our catering for 2017. We are excited to have long standing relationships with nationwide festivals again this year, and of course some new contracts for us to get our teeth into!

This year we have spoken to The Cotswold Gentleman, to showcase how we operate the magic behind Relish Events, from a kitchen being set-up at a green-field site, to our talented team of chefs producing delicious menus for our festival goers to enjoy and of course, our front of house team running the floor like pros. The great news is, a lot of our new guest don’t realise how extensive our setup is, and how much planning and time goes into producing delicious dining menus in the middle of a field!

Our Exec Chef Rob Goves and his team enjoy sourcing local produce in the Cotswolds, from companies who are not only well known for their quality but their local independence. Some of our regular suppliers we use for our events include, BramleysCotswold Wagyu, Jesse Smith, Cotswold Gold and New Wave!

We are starting our events sample menu by trotting towards our first event of the year at, Withington Manor Horse Trials, on the 1st May. We are then swiftly off to Badminton Horse Trials on the 3rd-7th May, this is one of our biggest events of the year where we will be hosting the members tent offering Bellini Breakfasts, two course Buffet Luncheon and whetting our whistles in our Pig and Whistle pub!

Next on the menu are the middle of the season shows, so we are skipping off to the RHS Malvern Spring Festival on the 11th-14th May, we have been hosting the catering at the Spring Show for many years, and as a team we always look forward to returning! Next in the diary is a big 30th anniversary celebration at, Hay Festival on the 25th May- 4th June, Hay Festival showcases all the great writers from all around the world to debate and share stories in the staggering beauty of the Welsh borders.

Now we are moving on to the sweet part of the menu at the Malvern Royal Three Counties Show, on the 16th-18th June. This festival has a great buzz and is one for all the family, showcasing the great outdoors and country pursuits! We are then speeding of to France for the, Le Mans 24-hour Car Race, on the 17th-18th June – we are returning for the 2nd year hosting the hospitality tent within the main camp site, this is where we will be offering all day catering for the visitors.

Our next slice of the pie is at The Royal International Air Tattoo, on the 14th-16th July, in Fairford. We have been working with the RIAT team for many years and always bump into our local suppliers and customers! We are now heading towards the end of the season, which bring us onto one of the biggest country festivals of the year, The Game Fair, on the 28th-30th July! The Game Fair is the annual gathering for people who are passionate about countryside pursuits, and the great British countryside in all its glory!

And finally, to finish off our tasting menu we have the Malvern Autumn Show, on the 23rd-24th Sept! This festival is a great way to be inspired by autumn and celebrate the best of seasonal produce, gardening, crafts, art and animal attractions!

We will be covering all our events this year on our blog and social media channels, so make sure you keep posted by following us @RelishEventsUK, or signing up to our newsletter!
