Relish HQ is based in Cirencester’s idyllic high street; this is where all food production and culinary magic is made! Now at the fresh age of 25, we have transformed into a vast wedding and corporate event company, specialising in green field sites where in spite of zero infrastructure they still serve a 600 seater restaurant and a 1200 cover VIP lounge! We pride ourselves on our culinary excellence; from outstanding chefs who produce the finest ingredients sourced from local farmers and suppliers, to our experienced event organisers who know how to put on a good celebration!
We recently worked at one of our local festivals in September – The Cheltenham Literature Festival! As a local festival, we hosted some of the main events within Montpellier Gardens and worked with some big names within the culinary world!
The famous Spiegeltent was the most iconic and beautiful venue hosted again in 2016 and signifies the Literature Festival returning to Cheltenham town every year! Situated in the heart of Montpellier Gardens, it provided a unique and unforgettable experience where guests could enjoy delicious food from world renowned chefs and listen to bestselling authors talk about their latest books.
We were really excited to be working with a variety of talent within the Spiegeltent, including Sabrina Ghayour for a one of a kind supper club, Deliciously Ella and Joe Wicks to kick start the day and wake up healthier, don’t take the biscuit… its Nadiya Hussain sharing her afternoon tea recipes, Marcus Wareing relaxing over a delicious Sunday lunch and a large glass of vino and finally Italy comes to Cheltenham with Antonio Carluccio! The Writers Room and VIP lounge next to the Spiegeltent, is where the 250 big names went to put their feet up and having a chance to taste some delicious food themselves prepared by the Relish team.
Not only did we have the pleasure of hosting the Spiegeltent, but we also had the opportunity to provide the food within The FEASTING Café Bar, which was situated in Montpellier Gardens where Relish offered an array of different types of food stalls, from barista-style coffee, superfood salads, handmade pizzas by BAZ & FRED and freshly prepared tapas to US-inspired buttermilk chicken shop, all alongside a full bar for any foodies who also like a refreshing drink. New for 2016 was The Huddle, located adjacent to Feast this venue provided an intimate and engaging space to relax with friends over a drink, and be entertained by a range of pop-up performances from poetry to music. We were also hosting the BITE Café on Imperial Square, which offered a host of scrumptious snacks and treats, suitable for all the family to eat in or take away.
Don’t forget to pop in and try some of Relish’s scrummy food at Cheltenham Literature Festival 2017!!
